Our
timber is kiln dried to 15% moisture content
A meter reading of between 14% and 16% is acceptable  GARDEN SHEDS MADE TO WITHSTAND THE BRITISH WEATHER Before and during the manufacturing process we check the timber to ensure it has the correct moisture content to make your garden shed The timber in all our shed panels are kept within the guidelines of moisture content to assist in the shrinkage and swelling of the panels in all weathers Making a garden shed from timber which has a high moisture content would not be advisable as it is possible that damage to shed panels may occur during hot days in our summer months Making sheds from timber with a low moisture content may also cause damage to the panels during our winter months |
GARDEN
SHEDS WILL LAST FOR MANY YEARS WHEN TREATED
WITH THE CORRECT PRESERVATIVE Your garden shed will be treated free with a solvent based timber preservative which will initially protect your shed We recommend you treat the exterior of your shed as soon as possible once the shed has been assembled You should also treat the door and floor on the inside of the shed with the same preservative Garden sheds should be treated with the correct timber preservative every 12 months Some timber preservatives are not suitable for timber which is exposed to exterior conditions Please read the care leaflet supplied when your garden shed is delivered GARDEN SHEDS WILL LAST FOR MANY YEARS WHEN TREATED WITH THE CORRECT PRESERVATIVE
